Harvest Thanksgiving 2017

SUNDAY 1 OCTOBER Family Service

The Harvest Thanksgiving Service this year will follow the same format as previous years, with a traditional Harvest Table for decoration. However, this year there is a change to the Harvest goods we are looking for. The full list of items lodging House Mission are given below.

Any monetary donations will also be sent to the Lodging House Mission to assist them in helping the homeless in the Glasgow area.

This will also be our Welcome to Church Day, where the congregation is asked to ‘invite’ friends and family to come along to church with them. In Rankin there will be a simple lunch of soup, bread and cheese served in the large hall after the service. Volunteers for making soup are required and a few people to help out in the kitchen and serving afterwards would be much appreciated.

In Chapelton, breakfast will be served in the hall after the service.
