As members will be aware it can be difficult to find a car parking space in the car park at certain times of the week. In order to ensure the car park is kept clear for church and church hall activities/ users, new notices have been erected.
Traffic cones (with a chain) have been purchased for the entrance to the car park to restrict access when there are funerals and weddings. Sunday mornings are also problematic and there can be a significant number of spaces occupied before anyone arrives for church.
If there is an event on in the church or the halls, don't be afraid to challenge anyone parking in the car park if they are not attending the relevant event in Rankin and please encourage them to park elsewhere.
A few vehicles will have permission from the Congregational Board to park overnight—these vehicles should be displaying a ‘Parking with permission’ sign on their dashboard.
