We are on for all the Sundays in November and December and that's probably just as well as we have so very much to do.
1 November: we will be learning more from the Bible and painting what we learn.
8 November: this is Remembrance Sunday and we will be thinking of others.
15 November - 13 December: we will be practising for the Nativity. During this period, we do need the children to attend every week so that we can make the Nativity an enjoyable success for all.
6 December: the Gift Service takes place today. As in previous years we plan to give the donated toys to the Childrens' Resource Centre in Pollok, Glasgow. This may well be the only present a child receives at Christmas so please ensure that the toy, book, etc is in good condition. In order to assist in the distribution of the toys, it would be extremely helpful if the wrapping was labelled with an age range and whether the gift is for a girl or a boy.
Saturday 12 December: this is the Christmas Party for pre-school up to and including the P3 children.
!3 December: this is Communion Sunday and the Sunday School will meet in the hall. The date is also the one for the P4 and above cinema trip.
20 December: the Nativity takes place.
A copy of the Sunday School schedule is on display in the hall.
