A crèche is provided every Sunday morning for all children below Sunday School age. Anyone with wee ones wishing to come to church can bring their children into Church or leave them in the crèche in the small hall prior to the service.
All children come into the Church at 11 a.m. and sit with parents or friends and go to Sunday School after the children’s address and hymn. The Sunday School is arranged in three departments which meet during the Sunday morning Church Service:
- Beginners for 3-5 year olds
- Primary for P1-P4
- Seniors for P5-P7
Please see the 'Rankin Notice Board' page for Sunday-by-Sunday details

The Rankin Church Choir leads the praise each Sunday Morning and also provides a short introit. Practices are held each Sunday morning in the church from 10.00 to 10.40 a.m. At present we have a total of 17 members and would love to have more. If you would like to assist by joining the choir then you would be given a very warm welcome. Ability to read music is an advantage but certainly not a necessity because full training is given at the rehearsals. We sing a mixture of unison and harmony pieces. Just come along on a Sunday morning or contact us via this website for more information.
Rankin Link provides transport for anyone who is in need of, for example, hospital visiting or appointments, lifts to and from Church.
Rankin File is an Amateur Dramatic group which normally stages four performances a year, including an annual pantomime in the Church hall. Rehearsals are held in the large hall every Monday evening. If you are interested in acting or working behind the scenes please come along. You will be made welcome.
The Badminton Club meets in the Church Hall on Wednesday evenings. All age groups and players of every skill are welcome. Support is given for beginners.
