Rankin Parish Church

Join us

The Church is a vibrant and active one with a strong congregation and a large number of organisations. You are invited to join with us at our Service of Worship held each Sunday at 11am and all are welcome to join in the main hall after the service for a cup of tea or coffee. See where to find us.

Communion Sunday

The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of March, June, September and December each year, at 9.30am (Chapelton) and 11am (Rankin) with an 6.30pm service in Chapelton in March and September.

Christmas Services

There is a Christmas Eve Watchnight Service each year at 11.30pm in both Rankin and Chapelton Parish Churches.

Every Christmas Morning there is a family service in Rankin at 11am. Please come along and support this special service as we give thanks for the birth of Jesus Christ. Children and adults should bring along one of their presents to show the congregation.

During the school term, Sunday School will be held during the morning service. Outwith school term Kids Club will substitute for the children of the congregation.

The Sunday School perform a Nativity Play at each Christmas Family Service and past scripts are presented on the 'Nativity Plays' pages on this website. They may be freely copied and used for non-commercial purposes.

Creche facilities for the younger children will be available for each Sunday morning service.
